The police officers explained the definition, categories, hazards, and how to distinguish online rumors in a simple and concise manner through a symposium, and combined with practical cases, informed enterprise employees and responsible persons of the legal responsibilities they need to bear for fabricating and spreading online rumors, as well as the harm that online rumors can cause to the parties involved and society. This made all personnel deeply aware of the harm of online rumors.

At the same time, the police also explained in detail how to strengthen personal information protection and prevent online fraud based on the characteristics of enterprises, reminding everyone to remain vigilant at all times, not to disclose personal information arbitrarily, and to report suspicious situations to the public security organs in a timely manner.
